About the DGC
The Dorset Golf Captains was formed in 1971 at an inaugural meeting held at Ferndown Golf Club. We now have over 300 members. Membership is open to all Golf Club Captains, past & present, of the Dorset County Golf Union and golf clubs affiliated to the Dorset County Golf Union.
We hold social Stableford competitions, play team matches against other county captains associations, organise the Colin Chataway Junior Trophy, and foster friendship and fellowship throughout the year.
