Dorset Golf Captains Founded 1971

Who We Are

Embracing the spirit of camaraderie and sportsmanship, the Dorset Golf Captains Association is dedicated to providing a platform for past and current Golf Club Captains in Dorset to partake in enjoyable golf activities with members and with other County Golf Captains.

The Dorset Golf Captains was formed in 1971 at an inaugural meeting held at Ferndown Golf Club. We now have over 300 members.

Membership

Membership is open to all Golf Captains, past & present, of the Dorset Golf Union and of Golf Clubs affiliated to the Dorset County Golf Union.

On acceptance, and on payment of the one-off subscription of £30 (which includes a Dorset Captains tie), the Captain is welcomed as a Life Member. A Dorset Captains Tie will be presented at the first event attended.
