Match Report from Launcester Golf Club
2026 Six Counties Trophy
The annual 6 Counties trophy event was hosted by Cornwall this year at a very hot Launceston Golf Club. The course was in excellent condition, as was the organisation by the host Captains.
The day was greatly helped by having a two tee start with Dorset Captains teamed up against Somerset Captains. Cornwall and Devon pairs led the way with Gloucester and Wiltshire pairs following Dorset and Somerset. Played off the yellow tees the course was a tough challenge to all those taking part. As usual the format for the day was 6 better ball pairs with the best five scores to count.
After a very enjoyable carvery the Cornwall Captain gave the results and made the presentations. The results were given in reverse order.
